Spring is here, and as always, we're busy on the farm! Dave added labels to the rows, improved the irrigation system, and fertilized all 2800ish plants. We pruned heavily this winter, and the plants are responding nicely. We're seeing new growth, buds and blooms, and are praying for no more frost. The Battle of the Weeds is ongoing. (Sometimes we're a little jealous of the farms that just spray toxins on their weeds, but then we remember the superior taste and health quality of our certified organic berries.)
As usual, we anticipate opening for blueberry U-pick somewhere between mid- to late July. This website is not set up for photos, but you can view them on our Facebook page.
